2FAuth

2FAuth is a web based self-hosted alternative to One Time Passcode (OTP) generators like Google Authenticator, designed for both mobile and desktop.

When application is installed, a container will be launched with root privileges. This is required in order to apply the correct permissions to the 2FAuth directories. Afterward, the 2FAuth container will run as a non-root user (1000). All mounted storage(s) will be chowned only if the parent directory does not match the configured user.
